PROGRAM IN PSYCHOLOGY

EXPERIMENTAL APPLICATION INFORMATION

Application Procedure

The application procedure is a time-consuming process and should be initiated as early as possible. The School of Graduate Studies must receive all required materials before any formal action can be taken. It usually takes several weeks for all the application materials to be received and processed. Unofficial documents of GREs, transcripts, and unsealed letters of recommendation will not be considered. An application is only considered complete when the Psychology Department receives all official documents.

Students are accepted for fall admission only. To receive full consideration for Fall 2012 admission, all application materials must be on file in the Department of Psychology by the application deadline. Applications completed after this date will not be given full consideration.

EXPERIMENTAL APPLICATIONS ARE DUE FEBRUARY 15

Contacting the Program Prior to Applying

An important consideration in selecting a graduate program is the fit between a student and the program philosophy, structure, and faculty interests. Potential applicants should contact the specific faculty member with whom they are interested in working. Visits prior to application are at the discretion of the faculty member(s).
