Financial support is provided to the majority of graduate students in the Experimental Psychology program through the Mental retardation/Experimental Psychology training grants in the form of a living stipend of $20,000 (this includes one TA appointment) and full tuition waivers through the spring semester of their fourth year. Year to year continued financial support is contngent on satisfactory academic progress. Additional financial support for psychology students include participation in the Teaching Program.
Students also receive funds for travel to present their research at scientific meetings as well as funds to support memberships in professional societies and research assistants to facilitate data collections and analysis.
