Research Interests

Generally speaking, Dr. Demaree’s research interests involve the interaction between emotional (“hot”) and cognitive (“cold”) processing.


Current Projects

Dr. Demaree is currently investigating the role of different cognitive traits on the ability to regulate or control emotional responses. He is also studying how emotional states may bias decision-making, especially on delay of gratification tasks and decisions involving risk.
