We are pleased to share with you some exciting news from the Program in Psychology! A new initiative is currently being launched for undergraduates interested in the field of psychology. As part of this program, psychology graduate students will be working together to provide mentorship to undergraduates seeking guidance regarding careers in psychology, graduate school experiences, applying and preparing for graduate school, research opportunities, and more! This initiative is in addition to the advising you receive from your faculty advisor.
As part of this initiative, a new Blackboard site has been created for Psychology majors. This site will provide you with easy access to forms, questions, and discussion topics. We will also be posting opportunities to get involved with research and information on exciting undergraduate psychology events on the site. You should see this new community site when you log-in to your Blackboard soon.
Additionally, as a current Clinical Psychology graduate student, specializing in Pediatric and Child Psychology, Melissa Cousino will be hosting office hours on Wednesdays from 11:00-12:00 and by appointment. If this time does not work for you, please contact her and she can certainly arrange another time or could talk via 'g-chat.'
